The S3900-48T6S-R is an L2+ managed stackable switch designed for SMBs, enterprises, midmarket, and branch office networks, offering a lower total cost of ownership. It features 48x 10/100/1000M RJ45 ports and 6x 10Gb SFP+ uplinks, delivering a switching capacity of 216 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 162 Mpps. With dual redundant power supplies and a dual-fan design, the switch ensures reliable, uninterrupted operation even during power supply failures.
The switch supports stacking technology, which simplifies operations by interconnecting up to 8 switches that can be managed as a single logical device. It supports advanced features such as OSPF, Voice VLAN, robust QoS, Static Routing, and IPv6. Additionally, it offers simple device and network management via CLI and an intuitive on-box web UI, while supporting SNMP-based monitoring through AmpCon-Campus for enhanced visibility.
